In a recent statement made by the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, Prof. Umar Danbatta invited the operators of the sector to have the type of equipment that comply with the regulations.
Prof. Umar Danbatta also called on each stakeholder to take practical actions to stop the proliferation of electronic waste. He also pointed out in his remarks that this electronic waste is a threat to the citizens and their environment. Today, with all the awareness actions initiated by the regulator, an invitation is being sent to everyone to ensure that the telecommunications sector in Nigeria is secure.
